The Street Whores re-opening is happening soon! And I mean really soon, and I am buzzing with excitement! Just a week ago, the sim was gone—literally wiped clean, repossessed by Linden Labs. It was nothing but an empty landmass. But after an absolutely nerve-wracking auction that had my heart racing, we got it back! Now, here we are, only days away from launch, and everything is falling into place.

Our official opening is locked in for Sunday, September 22nd at 10am SLT, and trust me, this is going to be epic. If you’re wondering what we’ve got lined up for you in the new revived Street Whores—well, you’re in for one hell of a ride. Read on because I’ve got some juicy details to share.

Beneath Dusk | A Hidden Gem Joins Street Whores

If you’ve read my Top Places to Visit in Second Life guide, then you’re already familiar with Beneath Dusk. On the surface, it’s home to a slick detective office—a gorgeous, moody spot that feels like stepping into a noir novel. Custom mesh, dim lighting, that perfect brown leather couch—Akio nailed it. It’s got this gritty, Watchmen-style energy that pulls you in, and I fucking love it.

But the real magic? That’s hidden right beneath the surface. Tucked behind the building, there’s a staircase leading down, and if you follow it… BOOM, you’re in one of the most insane burlesque clubs Second Life has to offer. This spot has character oozing from every inch. There’s a mini stage for performing, red and gold curtains framing the walls, a well-stocked bar, and private rooms perfect for getting into some dirty fun. The moment I walked in, I was hooked. So when Akio approached me about bringing Beneath Dusk to Street Whores, it was an instant yes.

This place is going to be the secret underground spot everyone wants to be part of, and I’m not about to spoil it for you with too many details. You’ll just have to experience it for yourself. Candy’s Sex Hotel

If you’ve been with me from the start, then you definitely remember Candy’s. This place was the launchpad for my entire Second Life journey. Fuck, it was the focus of my second-ever blog post about 100 after that, and I worked there right up until we opened the X-Sisters Sex Bar. So, when Candy approached me about moving Candy’s Sex Hotel to Street Whores, I was all in.

There was a little hiccup, though—Candy’s has always run on a “tip as you wish” model, which is cool but didn’t exactly fit with Street Whores’ minimum tip rule of 300L for services. After a quick discussion, Candy agreed to set the minimum tip at 300L, and just like that, Candy’s is officially joining the Street Whores lineup. I’m even thinking of jumping back in for a shift or two, you know, just for old times’ sake. Why not? It’s smack in the middle of my sim now! Or maybe I’ll send Rachel over—she deserves some fun now that the sex competition is done.

The Whores Are BACK | The Heart and Soul of Street Whores

Now, let’s get to the real reason Street Whores exists—the whores. They’re back, and they’re coming back strong. Before sitting down to write this post, I took a quick peek at my CasperLet dashboard and saw that Street Whores is already at 73% rental capacity, and we haven’t even officially opened yet! That’s how committed these women are to getting back to work. The excitement is contagious—you can actually feel it when you walk around.

Any stress that I had at the start of the week worrying that it would end up as some empty place waiting to be filled, are gone. The life, the energy, the heartbeat of Street Whores is back. The people who make this place what it is are excited, and they’re ready to fuck and get paid—over and over again. You can feel it in the air, see it in their decorated homes and windows, and hear it in their conversations. The old dreariness of the past year is gone, replaced with an infectious air that’s making the streets come alive again.

I couldn’t be happier for them. The whores are ready, and we’re all so fucking hyped to see what’s coming next.

After a long day of building, I found myself crashing at Bea’s place on Pub Row. It’s pretty amazing seeing how different everyone decorates their homes, and it’s even cooler when it’s my people I get to hang out with too. We ended up having this mini impromptu party. Stacia and Bryk were flying high on Beabliss (the ‘Coming Soon’ drug release from Mel & Aria), Chandra was wasted on rum and could barely string together a sentence, and I just kicked back on the chaise, taking it all in. This is what makes Street Whores special—it’s more than a sim, it’s a place where community comes to life.
