You might have noticed that in the past few months, mostly since the turn of the year, the content on this site has gone from a rigid weekly schedule to sporadically showing up whenever it feels like it. It wasnโt a conscious choice to pull back.
Itโs a very strange feeling to open a blank draft, crack your knuckles, and suddenly realize you have absolutely nothing left to say on a subject. Since this blog launched, Iโve covered almost everything related to adult content. I mean that literally. Iโve written exhaustive guides on finding the best SL sex sims. Iโve broken down the mechanics of scripted genitals so you donโt look like an idiot. Iโve curated lists of the best Escort spots in SL, the top BDSM sims, and reviewed the best BDSM furniture on the grid.
Iโve created entire, step by step manuals for being a Second Life prostitute. Iโve taught you how to analyse a clientโs profile to figure out exactly what they want before they even say hello. Iโve built quizzes. Iโve written reviews. Iโve written in intense, graphic detail about my own kinks and exactly why they drive me.
I have personally written over 450 posts on sex in virtual worlds and the art of being a sex worker. To put that into perspective, if you sit down and read one post a day, it would take you well over a year to get through the archives. Thatโs an insane volume of words dedicated purely to pixelated sex.
And so, I recently hit a bit of a stumbling block. I wouldnโt even call it writerโs block, because that implies the well is empty. I have the ideas. The words are all there in my head. But when I sit down and start prepping a post, I have this frustrating realization that thereโs already another similar one sitting in my archives. So, instead of writing something new from scratch, I simply update the old one to keep it relevant for 2026.
Iโve basically milked SL sex content for everything that I possibly can.

Unpublished Second Life Guides and RLV Troubleshooting
Iโve mentioned before on this site about how much content doesnโt actually make it to publish. I have guides sitting unfinished because halfway through writing them, I stop and think nobody is actually looking for this info. I could easily publish them just to keep the weekly schedule alive, but I donโt see the point if it doesnโt bring any real value.
For example, I currently have a 1218 word post fully written on RLV and how to use it safely without getting yourself locked into a trap that will fuck up your SL. Is it good information to have? Sure. But the reality is that the vast majority of people already know they can simply turn off RLV in their viewer preferences and relog to get rid of whatever nonsense they got themselves stuck in. It doesnโt need a massive essay to explain that basic troubleshooting step.
I also have the third part of my Erotic Roleplay Thesaurus sitting there in my drafts, entirely unpublished. Itโs another heavily in depth post. I wrote the whole thing, and then I realized I was about to make the exact same rookie mistake I made when I published Part Two. Spreading the information out over multiple pages dilutes the impact. So, instead of hitting publish, I spent a few hours pulling it apart, condensing every single word into the original Part One post, and renaming it The Ultimate Erotic Roleplay Thesaurus.
Then there was the time I spent a few days over in 3DXChat. I wrote an entire post about the experience, edited it, and right before scheduling it, I realized that I was just rehashing an old post. It was just a different guy between my thighs. Hitting publish on that felt pointless.
I may have written myself into a corner.

The Business of an SL Sex Blog: Entertainment and Conversion
So then I started toying with the idea of getting rid of the VIP section entirely and going back to basics. I thought about just writing about my sex adventures in graphic detail and posting them right on the main blog feed.
In theory, that sounds like a good idea. But the reality is that I am not sure it will work for the site anymore. I enjoy writing sex stories. Itโs exactly what this site started as. In fact, I never had any intention of writing a single educational guide until I started taking advice on how to grow the site. Someone told me, โThere are three types of content, Jess. Educational, Entertainment, and Conversion.โ
Those words started an entire genesis of the brand. It took a small hobby sex story site and turned it into the reason why, when you type โSecond Life Jessโ into Google, the AI Overview gives you me as the front and centre result.
Which is actually kind of funny, because Iโm 99 percent sure it was in that exact same conversation that Caroline told me I would struggle to create a brand out of my name because there were already too many โfamousโ SL Jessโs. I guess the algorithm disagreed.
So we are at a crossroads. What is my strategy for producing new content?
Of course, I still have contributors to the site. Chandra has written a Guide to LGBTQAI+ Nightlife that will be published pretty soon. That was one thing that was heavily missing from this site. And despite Deeโs failed lesbian marriage a few years ago, Iโm actually not very into girl on girl action. Sorry to disappoint you guys.
Iโm not out of ideas, and Iโm certainly not struggling to write. Site traffic is still great. As I write this, yesterday I had 3053 visitors. While you might think I put the Google Analytics counter on the site sidebar for ego reasons, itโs actually what people refer to as โThe Wisdom of the Crowdโ in marketing. It doesnโt directly help SEO, but it operates exactly like seeing a large queue outside of a restaurant waiting to go in. You trust the people who are queuing and donโt just rely on the menu.

Expanding the X-Sisters Second Life Adult Brand
What I have been doing recently is a massive amount of work on the other sites involved in the brand.
The X-Sisters website got a complete overhaul. Previously it was just the bar that was the main focus, and then some random pages on different things. But X-Sisters is no longer just a bar and it hasnโt been for about two years. I also own Street Whores, Mel and Ariaโs Drug system, a motel, a forest, the Dark Nights app, property rentals, and so much more. So I wanted to really build that site out to reflect the reality of what the brand is today.
Which is great, until I accidentally kicked myself off of the top spot for a major keyword and moved myself into second place, while X-Sisters took first. Someone sent me a screenshot the other day after they had searched for something. I am not going to name them because they donโt need shamed for not using dark mode in 2026, but the irony of competing against myself and cannibalizing my own SEO was definitely not lost on me.
I also gave the Venusia Magna website a massive update. Roman roleplay in Second Life is so much fun, so I expanded out the HUD for the sim significantly. I added combat, pickpocketing, currency, gambling, and a huge amount of crafting options. Itโs been a labour of love for the past 17 months, so the website desperately needed a fresh update to match what Iโve actually built in world.

The 2026 Second Life Content Strategy
All of these expansion projects are things I can probably write about in more detail here. My How to Blog series is due for another entry. Providing real insight on how to actually make a site a strong brand property, taking it from single sims to an interconnected network, might be a very good entry in that series.
Or maybe Iโll pivot into some satire type posts. Guides like How to be a Terrible Client for a Second Life Escort might be genuinely funny to write. I could easily write a complete manual on the guys who teleport in, say barely anything, refuse to read a profile, and then get highly offended when we donโt kiss their ass. Thereโs a massive amount of comedy to be mined from the sheer entitlement of bad clients.
So expect more posts soon. They might be slightly different to what you are used to seeing from me. But while the main silo for standard Second Life sex content may be tapped hard, there is still plenty of ideas and things to keep you entertained.
What do you actually want to read next? More behind the scenes business? Pure satire on terrible clients? Drop a comment below and tell me exactly what kind of filth we should get into for the rest of 2026.
Until next time.
