The Ultimate Guide to It’s Not Mine (INM) Second Life Cum System

Last Updated on: 14th April 2026, 10:29 am

What is It’s Not Mine (INM)?

It’s Not Mine (INM) is a rigged mesh attachment for Second Life avatars that simulates visual fluids on the body. Unlike static tattoo layers, it is an interactive cum system that reacts to other avatars in real-time.

Sims with INM integrated furniture:

It’s frankly ridiculous that I’m writing this post today. INM, or It’s Not Mine, is arguably one of the most popular add-ons in Second Life for sex. It’s a staple and if you’ve been in any sex sim, club, or pretty much anywhere with sex in the last five years, you’ve seen this system in action. But for some reason, it has taken me three years to actually sit down and write about it. Maybe I was too busy using it. But better late than never.

If you’re looking for the definitive Cum System Second Life guide, you’ve found it. If you’re using the female version or the male It’s Not ALL Mine (INAM) version, this system changes how you interact with sex on the grid.

So let’s strip it down and look at how to use it, why you need it, and how to handle the humiliation of Hard Mode.

I have built the ultimate destination for adult residents. Discover the highest quality reviews, tutorials, and guides on my Second Life sex blog.

Why INM Disappeared from the SL Marketplace (And Where to Buy It)

If you’ve been searching the Second Life Marketplace for the INM system recently, you might have noticed that the listings vanished. People panic on the forums when they can’t find it, assuming Trina Carlsson abandoned the project. She hasn’t.

The reality is simply that the Second Life Marketplace is notorious for adult creators. Listings get flagged, and the site glitches constantly. Not to mention the commission rate. Do yourself a massive favour and stop relying on the Marketplace for this system. The only thing you can buy on the marketplace from the creator now, is the affiliate package.

Buy it in-world. I have linked the official in-world main store in the quick facts box above. Go there, hit the vendor, and join the official update group so you always have the latest version.

What is It’s Not Mine (INM)?

At its core, It’s Not Mine is a rigged mesh body attachment. So, unlike old-school tattoo layers or baked-on-mesh skins that you have to manually apply, INM sits over your body like a second skin. It is usually invisible.

The magic happens when you interact with other people. The system “listens” for orgasms from compatible genital scripts (and there are hundreds). When someone finishes near you, INM catches that event and triggers a visual mess of cum on your body.

It’s fully animated. It glistens. It drips. And if you have RLV enabled, it locks onto your body so you can’t just right-click and detach. You need to deal with it.

Getting Started | Installation and Setup

Walking around with a broken system is a mood killer. Let’s get you set up properly so you are ready to take a load.

Unpacking and Wearing

When you buy the system, usually from their in-world store or through an affiliate like X-Sisters or Street Whrores, you get a package specific to your mesh body. Support includes Maitreya, Legacy, Reborn, Slink, Belleza, Kupra, and many others.

  1. Unpack the folder.
  2. Activate Gestures: This is important. In the folder, you’ll find gestures like Cum Menu, Cum Swallow, and Cum Lick. Right-click and activate these because they’re shortcuts that save you from typing commands or opening the menu.
  3. Wear the Attachment: Find the object labeled for your specific body (e.g., It's NOT Mine! - Complete - v3.6.4 (Legacy) (pelvis)). Add it.
  4. Wear the HUD: There’s an optional User HUD, but you can control almost everything via chat commands and gestures.

The Menu System

The system is controlled via a dialog menu, which is the blue box (or grey if you use Alchemy, like me) you see when it pops up in the top corner of your screen. You can access this by pressing Ctrl+Enter (if you activated the gesture) or typing /33 menu in local chat.

The menu is dynamic which means it changes based on what is happening to you.

  • Clean Status: If you’re clean, you get the Settings menu to adjust fits and preferences.
  • Messy Status: If you are covered in fluids, the menu changes to give you options like “Wipe Face” or check “Status.”
  • Mouth Full: If you have just performed oral, the menu gives you options to Swallow, Spit, or Dribble.

How It Works | The Sex Mechanics

This is why you bought it. The interaction between INM Second Life users and the rest of the grid is what makes this the leader of cum systems.

Receiving (The Ejaculator Menu)

When a partner wearing a compatible penis (Physics Cock, Live Cock, etc.) orgasms near you, INM detects it. It automatically pops up a dialog box on their screen.

They get to choose where it goes. Options include:

  • Face: Triggers facial animations if enabled.
  • Chest/Tits: Drips down over time.
  • Ass/Back: Perfect for doggy style.
  • In Pussy/In Ass: Depending on your settings and gender, this can trigger internal drips that last for hours.

If they don’t have a compatible penis, don’t worry. You can manually force the menu to them by opening your main menu and selecting Give Menu.

Mouth Interactions

Visuals are one thing, but mechanics are another. If someone gives you a Second Life facial or you use a lick animation, the system registers cum in your mouth. Then you have a few choices:

  • Swallow: Ingest it. This updates your personal stats (yes, it tracks stats).
  • Spit: You can spit it out. If you’re near someone else, you can actually spit on them.
  • Dribble: Let it leak out of your mouth and onto your chest.

Licking Others

This is a feature people often miss but it’s perfect especially if you’re into cuckolding etc. If you and a partner both have INM/INAM, you can clean them up. Use the LickCum command or gesture and you’ll get a menu of their messy body parts. Selecting one triggers an animation and you lick that specific spot, removing the layer from them and adding it to your “mouth”.

Compatibility Guide

One of the biggest questions is “Does this work with my body?” because it doesn’t work with every body. But most modern mesh bodies are compatible. The developer, Trina Carlsson, updates this frequently. Below is a breakdown of the major supported bodies for both the Female (INM) and Male (INAM) systems.

System Popular Supported Bodies
INM (Female) Maitreya Lara & Petite, LaraX & LaraX Petite, Legacy & Perky, Kupra, Kups, eBody Reborn, eBody Curvy, Slink Physique & Hourglass, Belleza (Freya, Isis, Venus), Tonic, Signature Alice.
INAM (Male) Belleza Jake, Legacy Male, Signature Gianni & Geralt, Slink Male, TMP Deluxe.

Supported Genitals

You do not need an INM system to give cum to an INM user, but you need a compatible scripted object.

  • Native Support: Physics Cock, Aeros, Live Cock.
  • Plugin Required: Sensations, PsiCorp (v6.x), The Coochi, Realistics.
  • Note: If your partner uses a system that requires a plugin, the INM folder includes a script installer you can give them. They just rez their dong, drop the script in, and they are good to go.

Furniture Integrations (Dutchie & Beyond)

A huge part of INM’s dominance is its seamless integration with high-end Second Life sex furniture. If you are buying premium adult furniture from creators like Dutchie, you will often find INM integration built directly into the menus.

When you use compatible furniture, the bed or sofa’s internal API talks directly to your INM attachment. This means you don’t even need a partner to be wearing a compatible scripted penis; the furniture itself triggers the orgasm event and paints your avatar based on the animation you are using. If you are a creator reading this, Trina provides a General Purpose API to make your toys and furniture communicate with the INM system. Use it. It is what your customers actually want.

Cleaning Up | It’s A Game, Not A Button

In most systems, you just click “Clear” and you are fresh. INM Second Life makes you work for it. This is where the roleplay value skyrockets.

The Showers

Your package comes with a few mesh showers. To get clean, you have to rez the shower, sit on it, and wait. It takes time. You have to wash the shame away.

  • Public Showers: If you live in a skybox without prims, you need to find a public shower. Sims like BodyShots, Surrender Cove, and The Stockyard have INM-compatible showers.
  • SL Water: If you are near the ocean (Linden water, not prim water), you can jump in. The system detects when you are submerged and slowly cleans the parts of you that are underwater.

Hard Mode

This is for the masochists. In the Functions menu, you can enable Hard Mode. When this is active, the system prevents you from cleaning up until you have reached a specific “mess level.” You might try to shower, and the system will tell you that you aren’t dirty enough yet. You have to go back out there, find more partners, and get covered before you are allowed to wash. It transforms the system from a cosmetic add-on into a humiliation minigame.

Troubleshooting & Tips

Even the best systems glitch. Here is how to fix the common headaches.

I can’t detach the system! You likely have RLV enabled and you are not clean. The system locks to your body to prevent cheating. You need to clean up first. If you really need it off, you can try the Debug option in the User HUD, but really, just take a shower.

The menu won’t open. If you have just been used, the script might be busy processing the visuals. Give it a second. Also, ensure you are not in a no-script zone.

Fitting the Face. Mesh heads are a nightmare to fit because they are all different shapes. In the Appearance menu, you have options for Face 1 through Face 5. Cycle through them to see which hovers best over your skin. If none work perfectly, you can use the “Alternate Face” attachment included in the box which is unrigged and can be manually moved into place.

The Verdict

Is INM Second Life worth the money? Absolutely. It is the gold standard for a reason. It adds a layer of consequence to sex in Second Life. It is not just an animation ending; it is a lingering reminder of what you just did.

Whether you are a submissive looking to prove your dedication via Hard Mode, or a dominant looking to mark your territory, this system is essential. Stop waiting three years like I did. Get it, wear it, and get messy.

Help! I can’t detach the INM system. Am I stuck?

If you have RLV enabled in your viewer, the system locks onto your body when you are messy to prevent “cheating.” You cannot just right-click and detach it. To take it off, you must get clean first. Find a shower or jump in the water. If you are desperate, you can disable RLV in your viewer preferences and restart Second Life, but that ruins the fun.

How do I actually get clean? There is no “Clear” button.

It’s Not Mine is a roleplay system, not just a visual effect. There is no instant “clear” button. You need to use a compatible shower (included in the folder) or submerge yourself in Linden water (the ocean) for about 100 seconds. If you’re using Hard Mode, you might be prevented from cleaning up until you have accumulated more mess.

My partner finished, but the blue menu didn’t pop up. What is wrong?

First, make sure you’re not in a no-script zone. Second, check if your partner is using a supported genital script. If they’re using a niche brand that requires a plugin, they ned to install the INM script into their attachment first. If all else fails, open your main menu (/33 menu) and use the Give Menu button to force it manually.

Does INM work with the new Maitreya LaraX or Kupra bodies?

Yes. The developer updates the system regularly. The “Maitreya” version in your folder needs a redelivery for the newer LaraX updates. For Kupra, use the dedicated installer if available or the closest fit. If the mesh clips, use the Appearance menu to adjust the transparency or offset slightly.

I’m sitting on the shower, but I am not getting clean. Is it broken?

You likely have Hard Mode enabled or are using an integration like Project Arousal that is blocking you. If Hard Mode is on, the system requires a minimum “mess level” (e.g., 5 layers) before it lets you wash. Check your local chat for messages from the system telling you that you aren’t dirty enough yet.

Is there an INM Licking HUD?

While you can use the built-in gestures and the /33 chat commands to trigger licking animations (cleaning a partner), many users prefer dedicated HUDs. INM provides an optional User HUD in the folder, but you can also find third-party licking and swallowing HUDs on the Marketplace that utilize the INM API for easier automation.

Hey there, Jess! Longtime reader here, just wondering, do you use the default appearance settings for the INM system or do you tweak it to your liking?

Thanks for the reply! I’m going to try doing that to my settings as well.

Haha. Jess. I actually got banned by the creator for saying something she didn’t like. She really hates criticism! Good tutorial though.
