A new face. A new home. The scent may be different, but the voice is still mine.
Some of you already know who I am. Some of you won’t. That’s fine. I’ve never had much interest in giving everything away too quickly. I prefer to let things unravel at my pace – not yours. So yes, this is my first official post here in my new home, but if you’ve been paying attention, you’ve already read me. You’ve felt me in the spaces between the lines. You’ve seen the bruises I’ve already left in the archives.
The shift might seem strange. Sudden. Like something’s been misplaced. And in a way, it has. Not by accident, but by force. Over the last few months, the governments of the US and UK have taken it upon themselves to enforce identification laws aimed at adult content across multiple states and countries. Censorship dressed up as protection. It’s never about safety. It’s about control.
My website—Karas-Second-Life.com—didn’t survive it. I shut it down about a month ago. No grand farewell, no staged exit. Just silence. A year’s worth of work—writing, sex therapy notes, case studies, confessions—gone in seconds. But not forgotten. Nothing is ever really forgotten.
Jess stepped in and offered me space. A place to store what couldn’t be erased. A place to keep speaking without having to ask permission. So now, I’m here. The platform is different, but nothing else has changed.
The voice is still mine. The control, still mine. The story—still unfolding. And you’ll get every word of it. One way or another.

What Didn’t Survive the Move to the New Home
Of course, switching platforms comes with its share of losses. Not everything made it through the door with me. Some posts were boxed up and shelved. Not erased—just set aside.
I’m not bitter about it. Why would I be? There’s no need for my rundown on the best BDSM sims in Second Life to exist here when Jess already has her own list. Some posts were personal, some overlapped with hers. So they were sacrificed. I didn’t flinch. I knew what was worth keeping.
The ones worth caring about are now here. The case studies. The sex therapy work. The ones that show you how men fall apart in my hands, and why they keep crawling back. The ones that tell you how to take control of your sex life—if you have the nerve to do it.
“Bound in Her Power“ survived, of course. That series is a blueprint of what it means to be mine. To be beneath me. To give in without losing yourself—unless I want you to.
I am a sex therapist. I run a sex therapy office in Second Life. I also owned a Financial Domination sim named Ruined—though yes, it’s paused right now. Temporary. It will reopen. And when it does, it won’t be quiet.
But this isn’t the part where I give you a history lesson. That’s not my style. I don’t spoon-feed. If you want to know more about who I am and what I’ve done—then go find the posts. They’re waiting.

What Comes Next
What I will say here is simple—my posts don’t come often. Two a month at most. Some months have nothing at all. I don’t work by routine. Life moves fast, and I move with it. That’s why I liked having my own site. No timelines. No expectations. Just silence when I needed it and noise when I was ready.
This new home offers me something close. Not identical, but close. A little shift in structure. A little compromise. But I’m not complaining. Jess gave me space. That matters.
Kara’s Second Life may be dead, but I don’t waste time mourning ghosts. I don’t care for nostalgia. I care for control. I look forward. I take what I want. And that hasn’t changed.
Now, this is probably the part where I’m meant to promote something. Pretend to smile. Tilt my head. You’ll forgive me if I don’t. But I will mention this—my first book, “What To Expect In Sex Therapy”, is available now. Original title? Not particularly. Useful? Absolutely.
You can find it on the Second Life Marketplace, or at my sex therapy office. I suggest you get it before someone else explains it to you.
When will the next post arrive? Watch closely. You’ll know when it’s time.
