The Exciting 2025 Announcement That Changes Everything

Here’s something you might not know about me: I’m obsessed with space, it’s one of the most exciting things to me. If you’ve been reading this blog long enough, you’ve probably caught a few hints. Casual mentions of me disappearing into YouTube rabbit holes about the expanding universe, random asides about black holes, and the occasional reference to being a Space Demon (which, sadly, isn’t an actual scientific classification… yet). I’ve even recommended space-themed sims in Second Life, because, if I can’t explore the cosmos in real life, I may as well do it virtually.

Truth is, space has fascinated me since I was a child. For a while, I actually wanted to be an Astrophysicist growing up. The problem was that the UK isn’t exactly bursting with opportunities for that. Ever heard of the UKSA? The UK Space Agency. Yeah, didn’t think so. It exists, technically, but compared to what’s happening in the US or China, it’s like a half-hearted science fair project.

So what does any of this have to do with my blog?

Well, let me take you back.

Finding a New Path

As you’ve probably read, over and over, because I haven’t shut up about it—this new UK law requiring ID verification to access adult content is a massive pain in my ass. Blogging isn’t just some hobby for me; it’s my job. It pays my bills, keeps the lights on, and puts food on my table. So when that law dropped like a fucking nuke, I was left sitting there thinking, “Well, what the fuck now?”

For over a month, I spiraled through a million “What Ifs” and a trillion “Well fucks.” My entire life as I knew it, was about to get steamrolled by some out-of-touch government fuckery. And sure, there were options—some of which made me want to vomit, others that I kept circling back to, never quite deciding.

But through all the stress, panic, and existential dread, one thing was clear:

I love blogging. I love writing. I love stringing words together and making people feel something, whether it’s arousal, curiosity, or sheer fucking bewilderment at whatever weird shit I’ve just written. Writing is what I do. It’s who I am.

And I sure as fuck wasn’t about to walk away from that.

The Conversation That Changed Everything

Over the last month, I had a million conversations. Some were productive. Most just left me even more confused. None of them gave me the clarity I desperately needed. And then, there was Bea.

It was such a nothing moment at the time. I’d just built a new club building at the bar, so I sent her a Gyazo link with the words, “I got bored.” Innocent enough, right? Her response apparently thought the opposite. Apparently it could have been anything, carnage, a new sex toy, new land, or a new blog.

Then she followed it up with, “Thanks for being a horrifyingly interesting friend.”

And that was it. The conversation moved on, and I didn’t think much of it.. at first.

But then, those words got stuck in my head.

“A new blog.”

The phrase just wouldn’t leave me the fuck alone. It played on repeat, over and over, like a song you hate but somehow know all the words to. While it did, I was doing what I always do. Journeying through space in my own little world and listening to StarTalk with Neil deGrasse Tyson.

And that’s when it clicked.

Sarcasm & Stardust Is Born

I love everything about the universe. The stars, the planets, the mind-bending physics that keep it all together. I’m obsessed with the fact that Betelgeuse is on the brink of going supernova. An event so powerful we’d see it from Earth. (The chances are slim we’ll be alive to witness it, but still, fucking cool.)

I’m fascinated by the idea that Venus is basically hell, with temperatures hot enough to melt lead, an atmosphere so thick it would crush you instantly, and sulfuric acid clouds just for extra funsies. Even with a spacesuit, you wouldn’t last 10 seconds on the surface.

And light is so fast that in the time it takes you to blink, it could have travelled around the entire planet that we live on. Fast for us, sure, but in terms of the universe it’s astoundingly slow.

Oh, and I have an irrational fear of pulsars. Yes, I know the odds of one entering our solar system are practically zero. But still. Those spinning death stars freak me the fuck out.

And then, as my brain spiralled through all these random space facts, it hit me.

Those words again…

“A new blog.”

And just like that, I knew exactly what I had to do.

So here we are.

I have so much knowledge crammed into my brain, and now, I finally have a place to dump it all. And honestly?

I’m fucking excited.

Two Blogs, Two Worlds – Both Still Very Much Me

So, what does this mean for this blog?

Absolutely nothing changes.

I’m still here, still posting, still writing about the things you’ve always come here to read. The only difference is that now I have another blog getting just as much love and attention.

Look, I already have multiple blogs. Check the sidebar and you’ll see a link to my gaming blog, which, let’s be honest, I should probably update more. But that’s a hobby blog, something I poke at when I actually find time to play games.

Sarcasm & Stardust is different.

I already spend my time watching space documentaries, listening to astrophysics podcasts, and reading articles on the latest discoveries. Now, instead of just letting all that knowledge rattle around in my brain, I’m turning it into something. I’m combining my love for the cosmos with my love for blogging.

That’s a win-win for me.

So, Jess and Her Gentlemen stays the same. Nothing’s going anywhere. Sure, if you’re in the UK, you’ll have to deal with that bullshit verification system, but other than that, it’s business as usual.

And Sarcasm & Stardust will grow. And with it, you’ll get to see a whole other side of me. One that has nothing to do with kink, sex, or Second Life, but instead is filled with nerdy black holes, supernovae, and the insanity of the universe itself.
