Let’s be honest, 3DXChat isn’t exactly known for its immersive roleplay culture. It’s fast, it’s visual, and most people are there to get off, not write three-paragraph emotes about their vampire lord’s tortured past. But that doesn’t mean roleplay in 3DXChat doesn’t exist. Far from it.

Over the last few weeks, I’ve been spending more time exploring different RP corners of 3DX from space stations, Roman temples, dystopian bunkers, underground clubs, and more. And while there’s no “official” RP system in place, players more than make up for it with creativity, setting design, and sheer commitment to the bit.

So what are the most popular roleplay themes in 3DXChat right now? What types of adult fantasies do people keep coming back to? That’s exactly what I wanted to find out.

Log in any time of day and chances are they’re sitting comfortably in the top ten. I’ve watched them hold steady for days, sometimes weeks. The traffic doesn’t lie, this is one of the most popular 3DXChat fantasies, full stop.

And honestly I get it.

There’s something dangerously hot about stepping into a role where you’re betraying someone. The taboo of it, the guilt, the secrecy, the excitement of getting caught. Let’s talk BDSM roleplay in 3DXChat, though I’ll admit right now, this one’s going to be brief. Not because it’s rare. Quite the opposite. It’s clearly popular. You only have to glance through the public room list to see just how many dungeons, sex dungeons and “Training Rooms” are packed with submissives waiting for orders.

But here’s the catch: it’s overwhelmingly Maledom.

That’s not a complaint if that’s your thing. There’s clearly a big community of people into Dom/sub dynamics with a focus on male dominance. And those rooms are often busy. There’s demand, and it’s met.

But if you’re like me, someone who enjoys FemDom dynamics and being the one in control then you might feel a little underserved.

I’ve yet to stumble into a FemDom room that had more than one person in it. Either they exist and the crowd is more private, or the broader 3DXChat audience hasn’t quite caught on to how hot female-led domination can be. Which is a shame, because it’s amazing.
