Second Life red light districts aren’t exactly rare. Some are here today and gone tomorrow. Others are legendary and have been around forever.
Street Whores, for example, has been around for over a decade and still has a mass of people walking in daily. That is exactly why I bought it in 2024. As the owner of the most famous Red Light District in grid history, I know exactly what makes a district good and what makes it a bot-filled ghost town.

Spend twenty minutes on those streets and you’ll understand why Street Whores is a huge part of SL history.
Hooker Hotel
I’ll be straight with you: Hooker Hotel is a mixed bag. On one hand, it’s busy and sometimes insanely so. On the other, it’s crawling with bots. If you hang around the landing zone long enough, you’ll see what I mean. That said, don’t write it off completely. Behind the bots, there are genuine, active escorts who know their trade. Just don’t be lazy and do a little digging, read profiles, and figure out who’s real before you part with your Linden.
Main Street
Main Street is smaller, rougher around the edges, and not nearly as polished as the bigger hubs but that’s sort of part of its charm. It’s literally a street, with a club parked at the end, and it lives up to the “red light” feel without trying to be anything more.
