I absolutely loved this guide, Jess! One thing I think is good to know in the lead-up to any meaningful Second Life sex experience is the importance of understanding and respecting someone’s profile. Nothing frustrates me more than when people don’t take the time to read and know what I’m looking for. Yes, I understand that conversation is the key to getting to know someone, but our profiles are there for a reason. If someone can’t be bothered to read my profile, it shows a lack of respect and effort, and I’m not interested in any of wasting my time on them.

On emotes I would like to add some ideas of my own. There is interest in paragraphs of smut, not just everybody is into it.

So one way to go at this could also be probing the water so to speak. Start with something in the middle and see how much your partner adds then go with that.

If you have a preferred style communicate that to your partner or write it somewhere in your profile. That way nobody gets disappointed.
